Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 September 2026
By creating an account or using SquadPlay you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose — please read them.

The service

SquadPlay is a tool for organising recurring casual sports games: RSVPs and waitlists, team selection, match results and keeping track of who has paid their share of the pitch. It is provided by Robicon Digital LTD ("we", "us").
The service is available in your web browser at squadplay.app and, when published, as native apps.

Your account

You need an account to create or join a squad. You must give accurate details, be at least 16 years old, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Squads, organisers and members

Whoever creates a squad is its owner and can appoint admins. Owners and admins decide who is in the squad, schedule matches and manage match records. Any member can leave a squad at any time.
Squad invite links are yours to share. Anyone with a link can join that squad, so share them with care.

Money between players

SquadPlay only helps organisers split a pitch cost and record who has paid. We do not collect, hold, transfer or process any payment, and we are not a party to any payment between players and organisers. Any amounts, payment details and reminders shown in the app are entered and controlled by the squad's organiser.

Plans and pricing

The Free plan can be used without a card and without a time limit. Paid plans with extra features are listed in the app; where a paid plan is offered, its price and what it includes are shown before you choose it. We may change plans and prices for the future, but we will not charge you without your clear agreement.

Acceptable use

  • •
Do not use SquadPlay to harass others, to post unlawful content, or to add people to a squad who have not agreed to take part.
  • •
Do not try to access other squads' data, break or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
  • •
Do not use the service for anything other than organising casual sport and related social activity.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts or squads that break these rules.

    Availability and changes

SquadPlay is under active development. We aim to keep it available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially affects you, we will try to give notice in the app.

    Liability

SquadPlay is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for money owed between players and organisers, for injuries or losses arising from the games you organise, or for loss of data beyond what we are required to keep. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

    Intellectual property

SquadPlay, its design and its code are owned by Robicon Digital LTD. The content you and your squad create (names, results, messages) remains yours; you give us permission to store and display it to your squad so the service can work.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
